Hi, just experienced an accidental deletion of CR2 files (Canon RAW) and while I have recovered these, it can't seem to be read by Adobe Camera Raw or Canon's DPP. Does this mean that it got corrupted? Is there a way to repair the files?

Sandisk memory cards include a Photo Rescue software that might be able to recover the deleted files. But I think you need to pay for it.

I'm using Ontrack's EasyRecovery Software... can recover deleted files and formatted disks. I've used it for cards shot with Nikon, Canon, and Minolta and it works fine... it will recover the most recent files on particular sectors that haven't been overwritten yet.
