anyone here knows where to find this Nikon F6 locally? i called up CDSC, but they said, i have to wait 2 months if there's any stock and i dont think i would settle with their high price if they could have it at that time span...

i think i would be much better off with a new film camera than with digital... i figured film would last me a lifetime rather than digital with the trend of having smarter, more advanced cameras every 24-36 months... i think film is the way to go... as long as there is still film rolls in the market and labs to develop them..

so anyone has this?

have you tried to ask those people who sell cameras in other forums like jerry tieng and dindinlagdameo? film is much better but having dslr for back up would be great. hehehe..

If I remember correctly, i saw a brand new F5, F100, and F90x in Columbia Photo Cubao. They may have an F6 in stock, but I could be wrong. I had my D40x repaired there just last month. I remember because I was surprised to see their price was still around 50k onwards for a brand new but dated unit.

F6 is a great camera. I thought the F5's were ok but like I have said, F6 is great.. Ergonomics is better compare it to Canon 1V.

If you want to get one, don't hesitate. Also, try to consider F5 or F100..
Enjoy..

the F6 is an awesome camera - no doubt about it and it probably the "state of the art" when it comes to film SLR but for that amount of money, I'd probably look for a good condition F100 and use the rest of the money to buy me some nice lenses :)

I seem to remember someone saying that there's an F6 in Wells Photo along EDSA going towards MOA, but I've never been able to confirm this.

Thats a nice one too.. If not for my work, I would not get an F6. I myself is still shooting a manual camera all the way for everyday shooting.

I'm using F4, I think I will never get used in using cameras with LCD and multi-purpose knobs in them. lol.
