For black & white photography fans out there, Epson had launched Large Format printers that uses 3-level of black inks. Until now, it has been technically very difficult for black and white photographers to use digital photography because of color twists and short tonal gradation which are inherent in digital printers. Epson eliminates these problems, allowing black and white photographers to fully express themselves using digital cameras and printers with quality rivaling that of silver-halide processes.
The new ink also gives consistent looking prints even when viewed under different light sources.

I want to second the motion on what Heidi said. Getting good black and white from Inkjet was next to impossible unless you purchased special RIP software to do it. Now with the new Epsons and their K3 inkset, this is much easier. I personally own a 7800 and love the Advanced Black and White driver. Outside of producing neutral Black and White, you can also tone your monochrome images from cool to sepia. Now how convenient is that?

Hi francis,
epson has a showroom in SM megamall, I believe they have a unit there. it's called stylus PRO 9800, you can even have an image printed as a sample. but they only allow one print.

Francis,
I am not a sponsored Epson professional like some other people but use their wide format professional printers because of the quality. If you want to see a Black and White print using their latest K3 inks, I would be glad to show it to you and even print you a small photo if you like.
Just send me a PM so that I can coordinate with you.
