Shhh... Be careful! Remember, Sony knows nothing about photography! If the sensor is not made by canon, it'll never appeal to the professional cellphone user!

The Omnia? Or the innov8? They're horrible.... Ironically, budget HTC Touch HD is much better

I'm using the SonyEricsson X1 (oh no! A cellphone made by a TV company!!) and it's fantastic too. :)
Mark Olazo 11-18-2008, 11:30 AM This is interesting. We can't deny the fact that majority of the consumers will bite anything Sony will create especially if they were sugar coated tech stuff. :)

Not really. I did extensive research and tested Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Pentax before choosing Sony. And the sony brand had nothing to do with it.
As for my cellphone, I was looking for a WinMo device for better synch with my company's Outlook server. I was actually looking at the HTC Touch Pro, but then decided to wait for the X1 since it's core was designed by HTC, but the build quality is better than the Touch Pro. I'd have gotten the X1 even if it was "labeled' HTC or Nokia.
I purchase based on features vs. price, quality and ergonomics. Brands matter less to me, I choose not to let myself be turned into another drone spouting marketing briefs.
I mean, I've heard users from a "C"ertain camp claim their company invented digital cameras and that all manufacturers are trying to imitate their lenses.

Regarding of good sync data, Nokia E71 looks great for me as most of the time im using it (especially in my work,data...data...data...). I have my Iphone 3G too, cool! touch screen.... But the downside? 2mb camera and lots of complain about the OS and their features. BUt its ok, its fun to use it for "playing"
As of winmo device, id radther choose asus P565, dont mention the color screen, its only 65k colors! ALso Samsung Q11, but the prob is, most of the phone had a WIFI right now, but still samsung Q11 didnt make that one..again.

Exactly... it's all pros and cons.
I tried the E71, but the screen was too small for my liking.
