This weekend, John and I have been invited to conduct a photography workshop and a seminar on the business of photography.

Would any DPP photographers in Davao be interested to attend? John will do the workshop in the morning while I will handle the seminar in the afternoon. I'm trying to check if these will be offered this coming Saturday or on Sunday. :)

I don't know what arrangements have been made - probably none. ;) John is coordinating. :) Last night he just asked me to check flights but not to book them - he said Canon would. I also asked Rhonson to recommend a hotel that's near the venue, but I have not heard from him. Maybe I will give him a call.

All I know now is that the seminar will be on Sunday. I still don't know where. But you guys from Davao can call Rhonson.

hi ma'am harvey! my wife and i are definitely joining your workshop. the final venue (as per rhonson) is at Lispher Inn. A lot of photography workshops have been conducted there, plus they serve great food! :D see you this weekend.

Thank you to the Fanatic Photographers Society of Davao for the very warm welcome. Thank you for the questions that made the seminar really lively. Imagine, you stayed the whole day to listen to and laugh with John and myself! I hope to see you all again. It was a wonderful experience being there with all of you.

will do ma'am harvey... i just need to take care of my notes first for school. hehehe... :D

but right now though, the most important lesson i learned that day was to visualize your dream... and when visualizing, everything must specific down to the last detail of that dream. after that, work for the dream. :D

that single piece of lesson is already a significant motivation for me to venture into something else other than portraits and landscapes such as food and product photography. :D hehehe... :D

Sorry, Abel, but that workshop was in 2008. However, there is no reason it can't be done again. Somebody has to organize it, though, and that somebody must be from there. :)
