Get to hear the outdoor strobist bare it all seminar. Demystify the strobe, learn all the basics in a one day special session.

With a knack for simplifying processes, Bernie Ledesma, whose works have been admired and published by worldwide publications, makes learning easy, interesting, and fun.

He has always been open in sharing his knowledge and had freely shared his techniques and methods to quite a number of photographers all over the world.

Eventually heeding to the clamor, Bernie explains “In contemplating on organizing EB’s or holding Workshops, I see that there is more value in conducting a “Seminar” which will allow the participant to enrich themselves with the knowledge of how to create those interesting images themselves, and not just “taking” the shot.”

**So, if you find his works interesting, and you want to learn how he creates them, this seminar is for you.

**if you don’t own a flash but wish to get into strobing and don’t know where to start, or what equipment you need, this seminar is for you.

**if you own a flash and you want to see how other strobist are using theirs, this seminar is for you.

**if you don’t have time to research and wish there was a faster/easier/more enjoyable way of learning all the techniques , this seminar is for you.

**if you are curious on lighting practices used in studio/portrait strobe setups, this seminar is for you.

**if you are challenged with proper exposure techniques without using light meters, this seminar is for you.

**If you want to take photographs of girls in bikini, sorry there’s none of that…

*bringing of cameras or flash is not required, but encouraged.
*for newbie’s and intermediate strobist enthusiasts (limited seats)

Few more weeks before the month of December, when all hell breaks loose on Christmas parties, bazaars, vacations, and traffic grid lock. And, two weeks more to go till “The Strobist Seminar Day” so here are some important reminders...
REMINDERS TO YOURSELF:
· Attend this one time seminar like no other. Simply the most exciting, the most comprehensive, most fun seminar to be held in DPI XL Studio on November 22, 2008. (other seminars can be as comprehensive and exciting, but not held on November 22, 2008 and not on DPI XL Studio)
· Get enough rest and go early in the seminar and don’t miss any topic!
· Parking available around the Warehouse Studio (lots of it)
· No necessary to bring your cameras, but you might want to try some techniques right away
· Flash or Strobing kit not required during the seminar, (but bring extra cash, you will know exactly what you want after the seminar, and there will be kits available, for sale)
· Treat yourself to a delicious lunch buffet but, Ladies first...
· Pray hard that you win a Raffle Prize from Aperture (early Christmas gift)
· Mark it in your calendars, and make sure you reserve a slot... Education is always the best gift you can get yourself for Christmas, remember “If you teach man how to fish,...he will eat fish”, hmmm did I get that right.
· Here’s the Map of the venue:

@frederickagustin
Indoor/studio strobing will be covered in a way. The difference from outdoor is you need to balance both ambient and strobe-lit subject. Indoor, you have less to worry. Lighting techniques will be discussed too.. which you can apply in indoor/studio shoots. You'll see...

@giancunanan
I do hope aperture gives discounts too... I myself am planning to buy accessories on that day.
[fingers crossed!!!]

Some shops at Waltermart might serve breakfast, but I'm not sure which ones. There is a starbucks and red ribbon there. They should open early.
