Man-made Lake (without the R72 IR Filter)

I'm using my old Nikon D100 for this. I think its better than the D200. I also converted and adjusted the RAW using Adobe Lightroom Beta 4.1. Amazing software.

yur right Earl. seems like its easier to get the correct white balance with the Nikon's PRE setting. we've tried it with the 350D medyo hindi ko madale. hehe, sanayan lang siguro.

@doc nap. tama Infomax nga yung store.

salamat sa mga comment guys.

I haven't tried IR with other subject other than landscape. may iba pa bang application to? any suggestions?

depende sa size, yung 52mm na filter size, around P2.5k only, affordable na rin kesa convert mo yung camera mo. but the larger size fliter like mine 77mm, medyo madugo.

I'm looking for graduated neutral density (ND filters) for months already, to no avail. DO you know where I could get a set? thanks

grad ND's are rare. couldn't find also. how madugo is madugo for the 77mm IR filter? i've scored a 77 ND in quiapo over the weekend. haven't tried it yet.

wow mr nino. makatanggap lang ako ng post from you, ok na araw ko!

Regarding the filter: Hoya R72 IR Filters 77mm US$283.50, 52mm US$40.50. May cheaper sources ba tayo?

Ohh...so it actually depends on the size of the filter. Thanks for the info, Dave! :) Now, to get one or not.

hello? dindin?

That IR approach is quite cool, I must admit. Is it just a type of lens that you attach to a regular cam?

Filters are quite pricey here - the 62mm Hoya R72 costs about P4K at Infomax. I got 3 58mm filters thru my friend in Singapore (Hoya R72 IR, Cir-PL and ND-8 and only paid a little over P5K) just about a month ago...

ei raul, here's a link to give you an idea. http://www.lifepixel.com/digital-infrared/digital-infrared-photography-instructions.html
sarap ng IR, especially now that we can shoot in RAW and then select white balance later. im also using Adobe Lightroom for post-processing.

My first post of IR (page1) was dated Oct 24, 2006. I'm starting a new thread for IR in Clark. As I look back, I'm really happy how DPP has taught me and motivated me to keep on learning different fields of photography.
