Edward, I like the effect of the clouds covering the mountain top on the first photo. On the other hand, the outrigger looks blurred -- it must have moved? I also would have zoomed more to get rid of the shallow water in the foreground.
About the second photo, it is sharper but it would have looked better had you gotten rid of the rock at right, which to me is distracting. Focus on less rocks (low angle) with the mountains in the background. Also, this might look better in black and white. Of course, this is just my opinion. =B)

Edward, the photos have alot of potential... You have to spicen it up abit in post processing to extract the drama out of them. :)
With your permission, can I inject my own interpretation of your photographs, by PP them? :)

I like the first shot of Cadlao Island. It's very serene and mysterious with the blue effect. I agree with Norman. The foreground feels a bit empty on the first image though.
Have you visited Corong Corong Bay? The place is wonderful especially during sunsets.
