Guys,

I apologyse for not making any post here for so long. Its the SmartBro that has been blocking my access to this site. Despite my numerous call to SmartBro, the site is still not accessible under SmartBro. Thanks to Dan who told me that SmartBro tend to block the DPP site.

OK, after the cooking event, we finally got the wall filled with lots of fine and interesting photographs, thanks to all who contributed. Its been a great effort by all to come along, contribute, admire and bought some photos. My salute to everyone so passionate about this subject. Of course, the amount of charity fund has gone up as well.

We do not know where the charity fund will go to when the kitty is full, but one thing for sure, it will go to some deserving organisation or persons in the Phils. I will have to ask for volunteers to help decide this in future. I will keep everyone posted using this bulletin. Full disclosure will be given.

OK, Christmas is drawing near and for those who posted photos at the restaurant, plse if you can, come and change the theme to something for Christmas.

For those un-initiated, the restaurant is Nasi Lemak, 165 Tomas Morato cor A Roces Avenue. 93% of surveyed customers rated the food there as "best of class". Tel: 376 6107 for enquiries and reservation.

Go along and take a look and may be have a cup of brewed coffee with hazelnut essence (which you get on SIA business class) or Irish Cream Coffee in week 2 of November 2008 when I get back.

Cheer to all, and best regards

We can now accommodate more exhibits

We have an overwhelming success of members of DPP, and general public exhibiting their photos at Nasi Lemak. We decided to open up the other side of the wall for more.

Starting with the 3 white boards, these will be able to accommodate at least 8 to 12 photos each total 30 to 40 photos.

There is also a fourth wall, at the rear of the restaurant, which has textured tiles of grey etc. Some people suggested we continue with the theme of "body portrait" which I started since the beginning. I think its an excellent idea.

So, guys, please continue to bring your exhibits and join in the fun. Its free of charge, to help in the process, make sure your photo frame has a loop at the back so that we can just cut a piece of wire and hook it up. Plse leave name and contact number so that we can contact you regarding your work.

You may also sell your exhibit. And no charged in levied on this also, everything is provided free of charge. Tribute to all amateur and professionals and photography clubs alike.

I drink to that!
