I don't see the need to fully desaturate the background to mono - maybe partial desaturation?

Also, try dodging the face of the subject a bit.

Also, what's the black line that separates the face and upper torso of the subject from the cart? It seems to cut through his shirt.

thansk sir just playing around. nothing much to do in the province. as for dodging im not that advanced yet:)

and the line that separates the torso from the cart is the result of sloppy unmasking. hard to get precision when using the trackpad of a laptop. i should invest in one of those tablets

All you need is to get used to it hahaha :D

Nice selective saturation :) Looks like the dance classes are working :)
