Thanks for sharing these Arthur.

I like the 3rd image. You can see the fine details brought about by the increase in MP.

The first 2 looks a bit underexposed (at least on my monitor)

I agree, the first two are a bit underexposed, I have fixed them on my Flickr site, thanks Zandy,

congratz arthur! Great shots! BTW what lens did you use here?

Since I was the secondary shooter, I used my 70-200G exclusively.

It sure was difficult, I wanted to do more and shoot more "glamour" photos, but we were on a tight schedule (in terms of the ceremony and chasing the ambient light) and the primary shooter was the one "calling the shots"...no pun intended.

@jeff, absolutely none, the dark corners were from the parts sticking out of the building. However, it was so wide that in some shots in MOA I had to remember to keep my elbows in to prevent them from showing up in the shot.

Bong I love the fisheye shot using the a900! I can't get this beautiful distortion from the a700! Hmmmm!

You need an A900. Buy one together with Lally, maybe you both can get a good price.

There is a command or action (I don't know if that is the right word for it) in Photoshop that can mimic a fisheye effect.

I am hoping to wait and see if Sony is releasing a body with lower MP say like 14-16mp with high iso capability and a faster fps say 10fps for sports photography then I would prefer this body over the A900! I would surmise that it would be cheaper than the a900 too!!! :)

Nope... Becasue then they'd be competing with nikon, which is not their aim.

I would expect an A400 or A500 model, maybe 15MP and 4FPS. But not FF.

:)Being in this market will end up competing with them anyway so why not? Nikon got their D3x sensor from sony and so why not make a 14mp FF and compete with the best of the best! I'm sure they can price it competitively just like the a900 is getting the market from the D3x because of the exorbitant pricing Nikon and Canon did! :)

No... Sony is targeting Canon. They're not going to attack their biggest DSLR sensor customer (Nikon).

Considering the bulk, size and cost of RED... Nope. Nothing to fear. Plus, RED is assembled and built right here in SG... It's not as robust as people may think. ;)

Hasselblad should watch out for RED.

I disagree... They need to watch out for C, N and S producing cameras that cost 1/10th their cameras yet deliver similar image quality.

There are several Hassy owners on the Sony DPR forum who prefer the A900 now because the image quality is great, the ISO goes above 400, there is almost no shutter lag, the A900 doesn't randomly hang when connected to a PC, etc etc etc

yun nanga siguro Jeff! LOL :)

Kindding aside I still think that a body with 14-16mp FF with High ISO capability and capable of more than 10fps is very tempting if ever it comes out! I don't care about live or video capabilities! I can get a good Video camera from sony if that is what I wanted anyways!

I wish Sony will hear my Christmas wish though! :)
