Hi ALL,

I just got my reverse macro ring. How do I configure the camera to start taking macro shots?

I just get a black screen.:(

I am using a200 on 18-70mm lens.

Thanks!

Bob

The default aperture setting of an (A-mount) AF lens is the smallest... please check if you're not getting enough light on your subject... try shooting at a light source (e.g. flashlight)? You have to do it manually (settings) I think.

Thank you. I just need more light source. Is it really like that I can't modify the aperture settings when the lens are in reverse?

You have to do it manually, try to move it with a piece of paper folded enough to get a snug fit in that space where the aperture lever(?) is - it should hold the lever after you set it manually.
The body will register an f=0 or f=1 on the EXIFs.
