Was just wondering if there is a way to adjust the seagate banner above since it's blocking the drop down menus such as "Search" and "Quick Links". When i go to the main page of DPP and the Forum Index, the banner blocks the space where we could type in the item we're looking for using the search command. Couldn't type in the alloted box.

I am experiencing the same problem... seagate.swf always pops out on my screen... I am using mozila..

I'm using Mozilla Firefox 3.03 works fine.

The banner blocks the search because the search bar goes behind the banner. It different for different monitor resolution. But it does happen.

Sorry Kieron as i'm not able to use a different browser due to office restrictions so have to deal with internet explorer and it's really is blocking the view

It's also blocking my Quick Links options using Mozilla Firefox 3.03.

Try using google chrome. It works fine with me.

I think this is not something new. If you'll notice in the homepage, the DPP Mag advertisement also blocks the Quick Links dropdown.

Although this time, the Seagate banner is in every page so there's not much we can do.

same with me, im using IE6.0

il check our backend. so far, using safari 3 and mozilla firefox 3 no problems.

it doesn't happen only with this banner but previous banners too, 3 of the PC's i'm using are all the same, using FF3

on ff3 and chrome, the search button pops up behind the banner in my PC also.

Can this be resolved yet? It's starting to get annoying :) peace!

in my chrome, the drop down menu does get blocked a little, but enough that I see what I'm typing. If this issue does not get resolved new threads might get posted because people could not use the search properly.

Then again. I just click "GO" since it's not blocked and it takes me to the advance search page.

Just click go on the search drop down menu guys.

Opening in a new window works with the Search link but not with the Quick Links.

The Seagate banner may be adjusted in the coding of the web page to be left aligned may be it can help solve the problem.

I've got the same problem here - search and quick links drop down menus are hidden behind the Seagate banner in FF 3.03.

have the same problem when using Chrome and IE. no problem though with Safari.

Why not just change the layout and move the banner right below the DPP header? :)

...or besides the DPP logo to the right, there seems to be a lot of blank space there

it is also blocking the search tab menu!!!

Not only does it interfere with search functions, it also triggers the popup blockers in one of my units.....

I was also experiencing the same problem. I needed the search functions but couldn't type anything coz the seagate banner was blocking the dropdown menu. The funny thing is, when i entered this thread, the seagate banner now had a bigger space separating it from the search dropdown menu. Maybe you guys can also try it.

here's what I did to use the search function, I just clicked the GO button and it sends me to
the Search page with lots of options.

What I do is click on the portal and search from there. :)

this is html code and not action script. it needs to be put on the html embed tag once you put the flash movie.

The seagate banner is still here? Its hard to navigate using the dropdown arrow of the search function.
