Hi DPP Readers,

Posting here a cover of Issue #22. Wait another woman on the cover? Definitely! Not only do we love women, but women also sell extremely well at the newsstands! Don't let the cover fool you because inside you will find possibly our most technical issue ever. Issue 22 has fifteen popular and successful photographers "spilling the beans" on their lighting secrets. As usual the magazine doesn't stop just there. We asked readers for Low Light photography and you will see the results here. We also have a Master Class on how to shoot when the lights go out.

Issue 22 is being printed but I'm being quoted a delivery date of OCTOBER 9.

Because the Cebu distributor went cheap and didn't have money to buy Issue 21. Suggest you order directly from us instead.

Hahaha someone finally noticed! Yes, this was the test shot for the Iya Pictorial. Personally I like this one better. It was the same team, down to the makeup artist :)

LOL! I'm still trying to finish the audio set up of my car. Looks like I really have to change the head unit. I'll probably get a head unit that is iPod compatible. That way I can even listen to my playlists while on the road.

Nino sounded pretty confident that upon delivery, they would have the dispatch of LBC on stand by for same day distribution. It's a valid reason why the delay happened, and its not the printers. :) According to Nino, this will be a bible to lighting photographers! 3-5 sleeping days to go!! :Grin::Grin::Scared::Scared:

M-Express doesn't take care of our deliveries. LBC Digiprint does.

I was just wondering. Why do the subscribers get their issues late? I noticed that the magazine is out in the stands before we get our copies. Shouldn't the subscribers get their issues earlier? Or at the very least on the same day it's released at the news stands?

BTW, as of this post I still haven't received my copy.

Hi Ron,

As far as I know, it takes time for the courier to deploy it to their respective areas for delivery from the central warehouse in LBC HQ. That's something we're trying to improve on with Digiprint and LBC especially that they just purchased a big-ass sorting machine. That should speed things up.

One concern I have though is that there are multi-colored streaks on the lower-third portion on most of the pages. They look like minute scratches. Its bearable but gets to be somewhat annoying when you are looking closely especially at the dark photos. You might want to take this up with the printers. Anybody experienced this? :Oops:

Issue #22 is worth my hard-earned P295.00 (or about 120,000 shares of my badly-beaten investment on ###) and definitely one of the best issues yet.

Do you think you can send us this issue? We will refund any courier costs and replace with another copy. I haven't noticed this but want to see if yours is defective.
