Guys,

My SB600 is working perfectly except for the fact that the entire LCD display keeps on blinking all the time. I tried resetting it, removing/replacing batteries and cleaning terminals but no luck so far. As I said, flash is working ok but am annoyed by the blinking. Any ideas? Thanks

seems like a common problem with the sb600's

Hi Ronald,

There is a possibility that there is something wrong with your camera setting and not necessarily the flash. Kindly change your shutter speed or use manual mode in setting your aperture. If this doesn't work, the battery you are using might be either Alkaline Maganese or more than 2700mAh which is harmful to your flash. Pls. provide details of the battery you are using so that we can give you a more accurate analysis or you can go to Columbia Main Office and have it checked.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Will try all your suggestions once I get back to Manila. Am out of the country on a business trip.

BTW, am using Energizer 2500mah rechargeable batteries for my SB-600
