Glad you liked it. It was very difficult to take sharp pictures as it was very cold and I didn't bring a tripod with me so I had to resort to f/1.4 + ISO1600 :-(

wow! brings back memories. we were there in 2003. Also experienced the Maiden of The Mist ferry ride wherein you get just a few meters near the falls.
Our relatives live in Buffalo, NY. This side ka ba nag-shoot? Tunaw na ba yung snow after the calamity last week?
Great sunshine out there. You have amazing night shots too and that without a tripod pa! Galeng!

Norman_P._Aquino 10-20-2006, 12:23 PM Zandy, those are beautiful! I like the second shot of the first, second and third sets. Because of the light, you see the mist clearly in the second photo of the first set. The green and blue in yhe second shot of the second set is pleasing to the eye. And the falls with the blue sky in the third set looks out-of-this-world. The addition of the raincoat-clad tourists on the right is a bonus. Good job.

lestercallanta 10-20-2006, 12:51 PM Nice shots Zandy, especially some of your night shots. Its a must to have a weather-sealed prime lens to make shots like these.

Yes. From the US side yung mga shots. On the way there, we did pass areas that were hit by the snow storm. Buti na lang, di umabot sa Niagara.

I was also wondering what that was. I think it was a helicopter.

Unfortunately, the lenses I used weren't weather sealed so I had to hide it under my coat whenever the mist got really bad.

I also liked the 2nd shot from the 1st set and actually did a couple of monochrome versions
