Sounds good to me, although I think some will be home on Oct 17-18 weekend for the Masskara. I can't make it this year though ... department commitments.

btw, i'm sheryl ebon-martinez. my dad is from antique, though i was born in marawi city and lived there til i was 6yo. We moved to antique for 5 years, then dingle, then iloilo city. graduated from wvsu, indi na lang mamangkot ano batch hehehe. i have two girls, babies pa (3 and 1 y.o), and married to a hubby whose passion are VWs and fine scale modeling.

i shoot with a nikon d80 and its trusty kit lens. i'm mainly a scrapbooker and in fact, i got into photography coz of this hobby. so 2 na hobbies ko, not counting reading and books which is basically my first love. that means 3 na sources sang gastos sang bana ko hahaha

i work from home doing freelance writing and managing our online bookstore.

btw, im interested to join the EB pero i might not be able to make it on oct 17-18 weekend, have to attend the icanserve foodfest, in suport of breast cancer awareness month.

after that weekend would be best. salamat gid.

Panay Digital Shooters (PDS) will have an EB with fellow Photographers from Cebu, Manila, etc... this Saturday, January 24 2009, 12 noon at Breakthrough (Villa, Iloilo).

this will serve as a welcome party for our guests. it would be nice if you guys who are coming home to shoot the Dinagyang destivities could join us. mayu na magkilalahay na kita 'cos for sure we will be shooting with some of you during Sunday at Judging areas assigned to us.

payment for the food will be KKB siyempre, 'cos it will be expensive for PDS to host such a big group (60 persons minimum). :)

the Dinagyang EB lunch is not limited to Ilonggo photographers but also to other DPPers who are coming here to shoot the Dinagyang festival. for more inquiries visit our website at www.panaydigitalshooters.com (http://www.panaydigitalshooters.com/). :)

Panay DIgital Shooter have managed to secure 15 extra Media ID's passes for photographers, those attending the EB already have ID's but I will be giving out the extra to any DPP'er who can manage to attend the EB.

The ID's will allow you to shoot inside Judging Station #2 (Near the Provincial Capitol)

Extra ID's will be given in a first come first serve basis, make sure to bring along a 2x2 ID picture.

Sad to say that I am a little bit late and a little bit far away. I was born in Jaro, Iloilo and is presently staying in California. Can you guys put me on your email list so that if ever you have some activity and it so happen that I am there, then I could join you. Meeting place: Jollibee Maysilo Circle
Bring: Camera, Sanitizers, Hat, Common sense, Balisong, 9mm, .45mm, .38mm. 22mm, ammos, PTC, tear gas, arnis, chako and a body guard http://digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum/images/smilies/Drogar-Scared%28DBG%29.gif Any Aikido Black belter here?

Btw, After July 12 Photowalk. I think we may need to set another Photowalk that involves.... something green na ha. We can't just shoot dirty places that needs clean up, we've to shoot and show places where people is actually doing something for the environment. So I believe there should be two parts of this CUP activity. One getting down and dirty, the other getting green

Each leader will assign a sweeper for the group to walk behind as look out. DiPP and advoc will be mixed up in one group of 6 members. Girl meets boy. And each member will have a buddy in the group.

You will have to submit a 1x1 id photo to iLoilo city PIO (located at the 3rd floor of Robinsons Iloilo Mall), then pay a fee of php500 for the photographers pass. Assigned area will then be given to you.
