It's finally here.

But too bad I will be out of Singapore. :(

Deng, if you have a couple of hours, go for it! I just came back from a similar event here in Toronto. Sony brought 3 or 4 working bodies for us to play around with...as well as their entire lens line-up including the CZ 16-35 f/2.8 and the 70-400 f/4-5.6 G lens (both pre-production samples).

in-body image stabilization = yum.

$3000 for body alone (estimated) = ouch.

I will be in the Philippines during the launch.
Anyway my good friend and guru is the Sony ambassador here.
I will get a chance to play with his working unit hopefully when we meet.

How does it feel to have finally toucuhed A900?

It feels good, very similar to the A700, but with a few extra bells and whistles.

Oooooh.... I just fondled, I mean, tested one too. Really really solid. I thought the A700 was a tank, but this is in a different league. You really feel like you could use it to defend yourself. :)

It's easily in the same "indestructible" build category as the Oly E3.

At $2999 for a 24MP full frame sensor, I'd say this is an understatement! :)
