sandro_mendoza 10-19-2006, 10:11 PM I've watched Probe on TFC last night, they had a feature on Verde Island. And according to a foreign marine specialist interviewed, the most diverse species of marine life can only be found in the Philippines, as shown in there dive shoot in the seas around Verde Island.
Amazing! Make me proud of the Philippines! I just hope no oil spill or man-made catastrophies destroy them.:Scared:
patrick uy 10-19-2006, 10:13 PM gosh its been 5 years since my last dive, HMMMM makes you just want to go back down . Yes I like the last image best. Great shots! The Philippines is indeed one of the best diving hotspot in the world! If you have gone diving in the PHILIPPINES then they are missing 50% of their lives.LOL
Roro Fernandez 10-19-2006, 10:36 PM My friends and I were just discussing about underwater photography earlier this afternoon. I was then thingking twice of enrolling for the PADI certification, but seeing these amazing photos made me change my decision on asking about a diving course :)
Norman_P._Aquino 10-19-2006, 10:42 PM Levi and Patrick, thanks. Roro, go get certified! Sandro, Akiko Thomson and I were in the same dive group. If you saw somebody wearing a pair of Forcefin, then that had to be me... =B) Too bad I didn't see the broadcast. Tsk, tsk, tsk. My story on Verde Island should be coming out next week.
Regards,
Norman
