They're not the greatest captures but I'm very happy and feel rewarded to have seen and photographed these magnificent birds for the first time in the wild. They're faster and more agile than the ones I've seen in captivity and very shy of intruders in their territory. I followed these birds to their nest, about two miles from where I saw em fly by, but about 100 yards or so, they've spotted me and flew again but in the opposite direction. This time I was too tired to give pursuit. I waited but they never came back. I'll try next time to take a perched capture. Thanks for viewing.

Great shots Reyno. Looks like Florida is the perfect place for you given the variety of birds there. :)

Wonderful captures Reyno !!!! 3 is also my favorite but I actually like all three because they are all in focus which is kinda difficult to do with birds in flight. Thanks for sharing !!!

Reyno, beautiful shots. I like no. 2 because of the green background and the low perspective.

Congrats, Reyno... these are fine captures considering the circumstances. With your persistance, I'm sure you'd get them perched sooner or later. :)

Too bad we don't have Bald Eagles here, only bald Eagle Shooters....:D
