Wow, this is very touching...

Instead of spending so much on drinking spree on our bdays... we are indeed fortunate.

yeah. most of my friends have been doing this. imagine how much souls can benefit from one night of drinking and partying. something to think about.........

I can't say a word.

The last time I went to this place was I think 8 years ago. I'm thinking of doing this too.....

My wife (then GF) did the same thing 5 years ago. Instead of having a fancy party or eating at a nice resto, she decided to celebrate it with the white cross kids. To see these kids' eyes light up at the sight of Jollibee spaghetti and chicken was truly amazing -- it was like a photographer being gifted with a complete line of L-lenses!!!!!. The smile on their faces was priceless. The whole expereince was an eye opener for me - it will literally make you think about how lucky we are. And it took these kids to make me realize this...

That one really definitely touched my heart....Ive been thinking of doing this before, but hanggang "thinking" lang, walang nangyayari.:D ....Imagine just spending like a few hundred or a thousand pesos, kapalit nyan ay mga ngiti na di nabibili.!!!!!

It makes me feel good to know that somehow, more and more among us are sharing our excesses, whether it be time, talent, or money, with our less fortunate countrymen. I have friends who spend the whole day of December 25th roaming the streets, distributing burgers to street children. He believes that only those who are really in need are in the streets on this day. My family also goes around during Christmas day. We always make it a point to pass by Blue Cross too. It will give you a "high" that money cannot buy. This feeling is not alien to me, since I have been helping our residents do surgery to our charity patients for the past 14 years for free. :)

Nice captures Carlo! :) At least Bro. it is really right to always remember, amidst all of our troubles and endeavors... How blessed we really are as compared to the greater silent majority.

I was told not to take close-up shots of the babies there unless it is not intended for some proprietary purposes... Is that true? I never bothered to ask why because I start taking pictures of my friends (with the babies and kids there) after a while.

We had an activity there at White Cross yesterday. I just wanted to shoot some pictures then go but when those kids grab my hand and the other two jump on my back I was surprised it's obvious that they want love, care and attention. I am so happy playing and spending time with them. I cant described the feelings but its something not usual in my life..
