I have the BH-E51R. The built is pretty decent. One thing I don't like about it is it drains my battery even I turn it off.

Francis, is it advisable to get a battery grip?

it really depends on your shooting style/requirements...
if you need the vertical shutter, then by all means go get one.
i only see the longer battery life(2 BLM-1's) as secondary benefit from having a grip.

Im really confused to the two Francis... Hehe

I think if you have extra bucks to spend why not, your camera looks a lot better too, more pogi points... hehehe
