Yes, this is indeed interesting. Much more interesting if the DPP can publish a much more "new flavor" of info about low-light photography aside from what has been PUBLISHED (http://www.popphoto.com/popularphotographyfeatures/5491/the-new-low-light-photography.html) from other major imaging magazine.

during lunch, i conversed with a fellow moderator regarding the difference between low light and low key. with regards to the use of dramatic lighting using studio lights, it is considered low key. that's not we are looking for.

try googling what low-light photography is and you'll see what we're looking for. if you noticed, the first few websites will show you night photography (whether landscape or cityscape).

Is low light then synonymous to "available (low) light"? Not created, not induced, but naturally "low" availability? Was that the bday boy lunch?:)

hi! this was my first time to submit so i'm still not familiar with the submission process. :) i uploaded 3 entries. all three photos were approved but i edited the description in one photo and now it has 'image pending approval' displayed again. i'm just thinking baka it is not viewable to all. salamat po! :)

I was at a magazine stand yesterday and asked if they carry Digital Photograper, the answer is wala pa daw yung next issue. I guess once the photo on the main page changes, this would mean that the new issue is out already or at least ready for delivery to stores...
