Hello everyone, new member here. I'm a Fil-Am who's here in the Philippines for a while and looking to get some assignments while I'm here.

I have a question about equipment rental...does this exist here? As you probably know, in most U.S. cities there are at least one or two stores or studios that rent out cameras, lighting gear, etc. I did a google search and couldn't really find any info on this. Do most pros here simply buy their equipment?

I didn't bring my lighting gear when I flew over, and I now think that may have been a mistake. I probably should've researched this more before I came over. I may just have to have my gear shipped over, which won't be cheap but will most likely still be cheaper than buying all new gear here. Thanks in advance for any info you can pass on.

Looking to rent some gear in Manila Sept- 11-13. Matte Box, Zacuto Zfinder, Glidetrack, possibly a 7D + lights. If found lights from the great posts here, but have not located any source for the Matte Box or 7D. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
