I enjoyed the macro shots posted in another thread. I did lots of flies macros (abundant subjects) with my Panasonic FZs. I have yet to play with my DSLR setup.
enjoy,
gil

Hanep, especially if you factor in the fact that flies are very sensitive to movement :D

shots than stuffed them :D. The front-end macro lens increased my working distance to about 1 foot and minimizes bothering them. Furthermore they were all non-union and therefore could pose. All taken from my backyard  when I smashed several japanese snails and they shared the feast with the ants. Nowadays, not much snail and not much flies.

cheers,
gil
