Now I'll know Canon's story (babasahin ko pa lang e, hehe.) Had to repost Bryan... Paul Olegario 10-16-2006, 11:10 AM It's quite interesting to note that Canon's first camera was a Leica derivative while Nikon's was a Zeiss (Contax) design. Zeiss also produced lenses for the Leica rangefinders, just as Nikon did for Canon. And up to now, the rivalry between Leica and Zeiss lives on, just as Canon vs. Nikon continues to fuel heated debates everywhere. orlando_arcelao_jr 10-16-2006, 02:08 PM Thanks for sharing Earl! :) Earl Gonzalez 10-28-2006, 10:09 AM Thanks Guys for viewing... A bit of history changed my outlook on cameras so much I ended up with a 70-year old camera that looks and feels so much better than my DSLR and still takes great pictures. :) joseph_acapuyan 10-31-2006, 06:55 PM Earl thanks for sharing, very informative indeed.
