im currently eyeing a relatively cheap portable pack system for outdoor use(although im limited to only 1 head)..

is 400ws enough for full body shots mixed with sunlight? lets say f/8 - f/16?

maybe with iso 400.. pwede. then again, if its a "cheap" set-up.. the recycle time might be very slow.

Maybe you should try using a PC UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) as portable power outdoor for studio lights. I think it would work but i havent tried it tho.
