Can we put a "grayscale"(unsure about the term,don't know what it's called) on the photo gallery so we can see each other's picture posts in the same light especially if our monitors are calibrated differently(or uncalibrated for that matter). Similar to this one from photo.net.ph

Thanks for the suggestion Bengo, I'm really not sure what this is for, or if this is really needed. Will have to consult with the other moderators on this.

You will see this image in the gallery if approved.

Nino,

Its a greyscale ramp. If you can see separation in the steps of the highlights and the steps of the shadows then the brightness of your monitor should be about right. Do we need it here? I'm not too sure. Maybe we can have it on one part of this forum so those who are really into this can double check. But if you are really into this, you probably already have your monitor set to the proper brightness settings anyway. Lets ask the other moderators their opinion and make a decision.
