Dear Alpha Family, due to the low turn out of EB attendees on July 26, Moises and I have arrived to a decision of re-scheduling the EB on a much desireable date where there'll be more preparation and people available to join. As of today there is just 6 persons confirmed. :(


New EB sked TBA... hopefully by then, there'll be more. We'd be glad to hear from you about this matter, nevertheless, we'll still be having one and we'll work harder making skeds meet (to those abroad, let us know your scheduled homecoming OK, TIA). Lyra, we will still have an EB. We are just moving it.

meaning "upgrading-from-a-camphone" newbie :Grin:

if we will wait for them NOTHING will happen.....

if they like to join there are ways....
if they DONT there so many reasons not to make it....

Its really unfair for others that they already makeup for the things, moving schedules, advance calls from work just for the EB.

Its not the number of people who will attend...
its not the new, EXPENSIVE gears, lens and accessories $$$$ dat they have.

OR if u want we can mit 5-10 persons as of the moment then those people will encourage or plan things for the others for the mean time.......

PS: Sometimes i viewed other post forum "other brand of DSLR" i saw there ORGANIZED EB's.... hmmmmm how about the alpha people can they? As I Post from our sony thread we should have proper COMMUNICATION.

Richard, I was calling you earlier today but I can't get through your mobile. I was meaning to tell you to disregard this posted thread. I have talked with Jagey, Jed, Lyra (thru posts) and Moises. We intend to push through with it Saturday, even if there'd be just 3attendees. But instead of an official EB as what was initially planned where there'd be slides (since only one Sony user submitted the required 5 pix to Dr. Isais) and c&c's, it'll be an informal gathering where we can still tackle q&a's. I apologize for confusing you and the rest --- I, just like you, intend to make our bond here at Sony stronger. Rest assured we are gearing towards that. I just hope that this little situation did not dishearten you enough to not join us on Saturday. I'd be glad to know you are coming. Can I count on you? Support me on this one, Richard.
