View Full Version : Canon EF 28-135/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens Mark Garcia 10-13-2006, 03:04 PM what's your take on the Canon EF 28-135/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens? how does it compare performance-wise and in terms of shot quality (sharpness e.g) to other lenses (canon, sigma, tamron SP AF28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD, canon 24-70 L lens)? tonio_garcia 10-13-2006, 03:11 PM I have the EF-S Version (17-85 IS USM) of this lens and find it to be one of the best all-around lenses I've ever used. It's sharp, focuses really fast, and covers all the focal length I need. christopher cortez 10-13-2006, 05:40 PM i think its a bit presumptuous to compare the 28-135 to a 24-70L or 24-105L.... but stopped down to f8 i think it holds its own....
