Awesome 3-d effect! Something I haven't been able to capture in 35mm or APS-C.
Never shot medium format, but had a few opportunities to hold one and look through the viewfinder. Totally different experience. :)

probably a Pentax 645 or 67/ a mamiya rb or rz67 --- not for professional use but for self-study (a very cheap one can do, as long as its working) ..been doing a lot of 35 mm since i was in college....i use nikon and canon digital for work and this can help balance my profession from my passion...thanks...:)

i have so so much to learn to beat a digital slr... how come all your shots are so sharp and crisp, when most of my shots were kinda soft ... huhuhu

denmark.yuzon.. I would like to share my secret.. I get sharper images because I use Pro lenses, Pro films and bull's eye focus.. but wouldn't say you can't with prosumer grades.. I believe you got to have to focus right..

fujifilm b&w are generally cheap, just call up fuji sto. domingo for availability. they'll even reserve for you if you get 10 rolls and above. just make sure to pick them up on the day that they ask you to it won't be forfeited.

Just gotten around to having shots taken with my newly acquired used RB67 Pro S with 127mm lens developed and scanned at fujifilm and i must say I'm really pleased. This is my first foray into medium format and I am now a believer :Grin: (although I am still getting used to the flipped image on the viewfinder). These were metered by a Canon G9 but I did get a Sekonic l-308s lightmeter the day after to complete the ensemble.

First shots, no PP and to think that these are just 72 dpi scans :)

Just gotten around to having shots taken with my newly acquired used RB67 Pro S with 127mm lens developed and scanned at fujifilm and i must say I'm really pleased. This is my first foray into medium format and I am now a believer :Grin: (although I am still getting used to the flipped image on the viewfinder). These were metered by a Canon G9 but I did get a Sekonic l-308s lightmeter the day after to complete the ensemble.

First shots, no PP and to think that these are just 72 dpi scans :)

My miya + a nikkor 70-200 f2.8 AF-S VR lens hood (HB-29)

i see no vignetting plus it adds to the no-lens glare factor for me hehe

i'll post the shots taken with and w/o the hood soon
