Hey guys, Honestly, I use Solid Gold in almost every shoot I do....
ahh... because It's cheap ^_^ (P69 per 36 shots)

Do you guys use it too? What are your experiences on using it too? Are there any disadvantages of using it?
Honestly, I haven't tried using any professional film...

Solid Gold is nice, I think you can get it at 55-60 per roll if you look hard enough. If you go to lomomanila there is a bunch of guys who swear by this film :)

I tried Solid Gold, but I like the Kodak profoto100's or the Fujifilm ProplusII 100's better... I think you can get both for around 225-300php for a pack of 5 (which is around 45-60 each depending where you buy it... I suggest Watsons...)

Tried and always used it at weddings (would you believe? yah, its true!) Photo Concept at Hidalgo, Quiapo does a good job at balancing the film's colors. Nice output and rivals that of better known brands.

Nice! I don't know if it's just me but I get a warm earthy hue in the pics. Is it a characteristic of this film?

oh, so that is why I see them in the advertisements.
The Misubishi MX III and Solid Gold are featured side by side...
No wonder... So does that strictly mean that SOLID GOLD is a Mistubishi film?

Might be, a bulk loaded film. Reason for its low price.

When I was still shooting film, I was using the cheapest I could find here -- YKL. When I was doing b&w, I was using the cheapest, too -- Necopan. And the cheapest photo paper -- Era, When I went digital, I go the cheapest dSLR, too -- 300D. And using the cheapest batteries (CDR King) and CF cards (from CDR King).

Cheap!!!
