I saw this Ad kanina and I was like... Damn! I want a d80, oh wait a d200 no a d2x! :) Having local photogs on the ad really ads a sense of relationship which i really like :) Great job mr. T!

Dahil sa hacking na nangyari sa pipho during the milenyo typhoon siguro yun fafa earl! The hacker wiped out the database! Ang last backup na na-restore is since August 1, 2006 pa kaya yung mga new members at new posts after that date wasn't recovered. I guess isa si Mr Anderson sa mga casualty! Hehehehe! :D:Grin:

As for being influencial... mmmmmmm... I don't know. However, I just do what I can to help keep the forum flames burning, so that at least people in this DPP community would not feel intimidated to post what's on their mind. That ideas are welcome to flow spontaneously. And that everyone knows someone reads and listens... So no one feels left behind or forgotten. :) Just my 2 Yen.

We have loaner units for Nikon Pro users (wedding photographers, advertising photog, editorial photog, etc.) when your camera breaks down only.

@Earl... would appreciate your feedback and personal review (commendations) on the D2X and the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR lens... naka-sale kasi ngayon dito sa Saudi because of Ramadan month, at saka pinapa-ubos nila ang D2X para maka-concentrate na lang sila sa D2Xs, but I also like to consider the D2Xs if the functional difference is that great (price difference of ~$700+). TUKSONG-TUKSO na po ako! Tulak n'yo pa ako...

jose, i suggest you not to hold/try the d2x if not intend to buy or no available funds on hand.. kasi once na try mo na, you will be hooked by how good it feels in your hands.

i have 3 friends who had no plans of upgrading, but did so after trying out my d2x.. its really a world apart from the likes of d70/80 and even d200 :)

i have had the d2x when columbia first brought them in, and even if i use it everyday, feeling excited pa rin ako with each shoot. solid na solid :D

marton, even if you have the nice d70, you will want the d200.. and even if you have the d200, you would still want the ultimate d2x :D

just like when i was happy using my f60, f80, f90.. i still dream about the F5.

kaya when i was able to save up for the d2x, binili ko na agad. so i can stop dreaming and concentrate on shooting lang hehe :)

but the D200 is the best backup camera to your upcoming D2xs :)

This is the reason why I spent on premium lenses first because my D70 was enough for my needs. Maybe I will wait na lang until Nikon incorporates a self cleaning mechanism as well as Image Stabilization into their bodies. In the meantime, I will just have to work for more lenses. :)
