Hi guys!
I dunno if i need to start a thread but i have a questions about these two lenses. I have sigma 18-200mm and im satisfied with the quality of pictures. Even i tried using the tamron 18-250, very good indeed.

Well, I never had a chance to test the sony 18-200 and 18-250 lens, so my questions is, for those users who tried using those 2 sony lens, any words compare to sigma 18-200 and tamron 18-250?

Hi Darwin, you may want to check the reviews of each lens instead - you can check them at www.dyxum.com's lens DB. Based on what I've read so far:
- on IQ - Tam18-250 better than Sig18-200
- on IQ - SAL18-250=Tam18-250
- on AF - Sony better than Tamron
Hope this helps.
Cheers

I would get the 250, it has a better build quality...and better reviews and than 200. There is some pincushioning at the wide end of the 250, but it is fixable in post. The colours and the sharpness, for a super-zoom, are quite surprising. The 200's lower price was tempting, but as soon as I saw the plastic lens mount (my pet peeve) I decided against it.
