To all Pinoy Photographers/Enthusiasts in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, DPP member or not.
Benny Rago and I discussed about shooting fireworks on Canada Day. There will be 2 major fireworks event in the city and will be held at the same time, 10:30PM; so we need to plan & decide where to build the camp. hehe!
A proposal is to place our tripods at Waterfront Park (near Lonsdale Quay) in North Vancouver. With a nice view of downtown and hoping to have the best view of the Burrard Inlet fireworks show (Coal Harbour Barge - #2).
Jess Sibayan is also aware of this, in fact he's willing to go. He's been with me when I shoot fireworks for the HSBC Celebration of Lights - but I do not know what happened after - didn't get a chance to see his takes (just kidding Jess).
Now here's the location, downtown is at the south-western part of the map(not visible):

and here's what we can possibly achieve:

hope this EB will push through.
your thoughts... :)
