@Earl : I'm mostly a TRYathlete but I have battle scars [maraming semplang sa bike] and injuries [mostly sa takbo] from the training. My last race was in July pa. Though I'm starting to train for races in Feb and May 07.

Every year in October, The Estée Lauder Companies sponsor a number of awareness and fundraising programs aimed at helping eliminate breast cancer, in commemoration of Breast Cancer Month. MECHANICS:
Each contestant may submit a maximum of one entry (colored or black and white photograph) in either of the following formats: JPEG, GIF, TIFF or RIFF.
High-resolution entry must be sent along with complete name, contact numbers, complete address to mcpromos@femalenetwork.com (mcpromos@femalenetwork.com) with the subject heading, “Marie Claire and Estée Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness”.
Each file should be named in the following manner: Name of Contestant_Working Name of Photo. Ex. Sab Cabrera_Breast Cancer Awareness.
Entry (printed or saved in a CD) may also be mailed or delivered to: Marie Claire Promos, c/o Marketing II Department, Summit Media, Level 1, Robinsons Galleria Center, EDSA corner Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City 1100.
Deadline for submission of entries is on October 7, 2006. Entries that arrive after the deadline, but postmarked by October 7, 2006 will be accepted.
One winner will receive gift certificates worth P50,000 from Rustan’s.
Employees of Estée Lauder, Rustan’s, and Summit Media including relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not qualified to join the promo. ELIGIBILITY: Photographs that have already been published elsewhere or a property of a photo archive are not eligible unless their copyright is waived in favor of Estée Lauder and Marie Claire.
JUDGING: Judging is scheduled in October 2006. Professionals in the field of photography as well as committed supporters of breast Cancer Awareness will be called to judge the entries based on theme, creativity, technical quality, and suitability of presentation. The judges’ decisions are final.
PRIZES: The winning entry will be awarded the prize during a photo exhibit slated in October 2006.
PUBLICATION: All entries shall be considered property of Estée Lauder Group and Marie Claire. Estée Lauder and Marie Claire reserve the right to use, name, and publish any entry at their discretion without additional compensation to the photographer; however the copyright will remain with the artist. Credit and notification will be given to the artist when applicable. Estée Lauder and Marie Claire reserve the right to grant permission for the reprint of the entries to third parties.
CLAIM OF OWNERSHIP: Contestants must own all rights to the works submitted and model releases are the contestant’s responsibility. Although not to be sent along with the entry, contestants must be able to supply a signed release from any person/s appearing in the photograph or their guardians. Any discrepancies as to the correct ownership of the photo will disqualify the photo from the contest.
ACCEPTANCE OF RULES: Participation in the contest indicates your acceptance of contest rules.
