Hi. I have a problem with some of the outputs from my rangefinder.

On these two photos there are what I think are partly exposed parts on the left side.

and on this photo there is an obvious red strip on the middle.
Can you guys give me an idea what's wrong with it?

The red stripe in the second photo is definitely a light leak.
The first two images could be lens flare (but its too coincidental that they're almost in the same part of the frame).
It could also be light leak for the first two images.
Or, you might have to flock the inside of your camera.
Cheers!

I echo the light leak finding... try temporarily sealing the rear of the cam (like shoot from a black plastic bag or something) and see if the roll has the same issue. Try it with a 12-frame roll so you won't be wasting that much film.

MArk, Yep Agree with them, it's a light leak problem. when you confirm it after doing the test David suggested, bring it to a camera reapir guy and have him replace the light seals :)

that looks like a light leak on the hinge part of your rangefinder.

Actually Mark, you can do it yourself if you want, ask for old film cannisters from the labs then take out the foam or furry part then use some adhesives and glue them the the hinged area and other edge of the film door :)

Hmm, forgot who it was among our "film" crew who posted a seal repair site...
If you're not picky bro, go to Concorde in Megamall, go through the section where they sell weatherstrips (japanese DIY kits), it's really small, they are meant to be inserted in old cars where the windshield weatherstrips are worn.
They're thin (1/8th of an inch or less) thick in width, and they should work pretty well.
Sorry I can't give you specifics, it's been a while since I've bought anything there. hehe.

David, Mark lives in Baguio but I believe there is a similar store maybe in SM Baguio. Good tip on that one! I am gonna try it out for my TLR :)

Thanks everyone for sharing the ideas. I will be testing the camera out this weekend and probably go around and look for weatherstrips or foams that i can use to repair it.
