Sort of kasi I forgot to bring my FS-1100 adapter so I couldn't trigger the studio lights (Alien Bees). I decided to take some, literally, behind the scenes photos during the shoot. More shots can be seen on my Flickr site.

thanks lally! I think I have fallen in love with my prime lenses all over again. I left my CZ 24-70 at home and just brought my faster primes...mainly used my 85 f/1.4.

I can't wait for the next time! A great group of pinoygraphers, I really learned a lot.

My only disappointment happend during the street festival that was going on at the same time as the studio shoot. Since I was going to be indoors all day I decided to shoot in manual mode. While outside there was dance troop dressed in authentic looking Victorian era (?) costumes doing the French can-can. I wanted to capture them, but I forgot that I was still in manual mode. I needed to be quick so I half pressed the shutter to set the exposure and focus, but I had to make adjustments to the f-stop and shutter...and then I shot. Once the show was finished I reviewed what I shot only to notice that the shutter speed was set to 1/3000th (or something that high). I had noticed this in the viewfinder but thought that since it was a sunny day and there was a lot of movement that I needed a fast shutter speed. I was wrong. My f-stop was f/13! The dancers were in focus, but so were the people in the background. Sayang!
