hello!
need help!:) was planning to layout multiple photos (around 6 pics max) into single frames... how can i go about this? are there photoshop actions available? im practically a newbie in PS and use actions most of the time since its easier... :Grin:

Chep, what type of layout do you plan to do? I mean, what's it for? Wedding or something? You have an example? ... Need more details... :)

Can you just use the grids in PS to drag and drop? You can then resize the images using the Transform command.

m planning to print, frame and give as a gift a couple of pictures. one image would be the background, a few smaller pictures would be placed over it...

No problem Chep. :) Glad to be of assistance...

using photoshop for layouts is like using a small chinese brush to paint the sistine chapel. you can, but its VERY restrictive. use indesign, illustrator, freehand, or even quark instead.

but if you like painting murals with tiny brushes you could try this: in photoshop go to file>> automate>> select either "contact sheet" or "picture package" and choose the folder where your source pictures are.
