went there this afternoon merely to check it out (let's say that it was a quasi-ocular-inspection for an EB we're having in the future). i still don't have a decent long-range zoom lens, kaya i wasn't able to clearly focus on the ospreys (one day, i will, hehe). took only a handful of photographs---there was a scarcity of birds in the place, dunno why. next time i'll probably head there early in the morning. anyway, here goes (my entire gallery, almost, so to speak):

Hey Etchie! Nice pix you got there, especially that cute little turtle taking a stroll!:)

But what could be cuter than the state park's name huh? If you have extra photos of the park which would also help define its name, please feel free to add/post more ok?

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, guys :)

@bryan: hehe, according to the park's history t'was named honeymoon island coz it was frequented by honeymooners during the early 1900s. but the place was an island getaway that has an osprey nesting area converted to a nature trail. next time, i'll probably lounge on the beach---mas interesting ang scenery and 'wildlife' hehe :D
