al, i think it'll look much better if you crop the black border until it reaches the edge of the butterfly. i see that you're trying to make it look like it's flying away from the photo, which is very creative. try adding a black border on the left & bottom, i think you'll achieve the effect better that way.

the black border serves like a frame to the main photo where the butterfly seems to get out of. its just my view, not necessarily better :)

i like the border on the bottom and left from vin's photo but the top and right border spacing on your original photo. give the butterfly more room to breathe. neat idea.
