Hi,
I'am planning to get my 1st DSLR soon and would like to know if the following SIGMA Lenses are compatible with my"soon-to-be" eos400D(Body-Only)

1) Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO DG-macro
2) Sigma 135-400mm f4.5-5.6 APO DG-asp

I have a couple of Canon IS/USM Lenses in my list but wants to know my options.

Please confirm if the two Sigma Lenses can be mounted/compatible with the eos400D and your technical comment (picture quality, recommendations etc..) anything would be so much helpfull.

Is there a local Sigma service-center here in Manila?(for repair and maintenance)

THANK YOU guys and I would really appreciate your replys....

Yes Mayk, both Sigma lenses are compatible. May I suggest the Bigma 50-500 instead of the 135-400 as you'll have wider field and a longer reach. Then you can go with the 17-70 or the 18-50 for a walk around. Good luck.

thanks guys,
the Sigma 50-500 is abt ~$1,000 and has good reviews.
Is there a Sigma Showroom here in Manila? and a service center as well?
