Thnx Vin DelaPena 05-02-2008, 12:51 PM hi rjay. i've had a Brother MFC-350C before and i thought it yielded good photos until i saw prints from some Epsons, Canons & HPs. my brother consumes too much ink for a full-colored photo + the periodic head maintenance/cleaning, i dont recommend it. get an Epson/Canon/HP, better yet, have a printing lab print your photos for you. Rizel Oliver Jimenez 05-02-2008, 06:31 PM epson, then canon, then hp....nothing follows...:D hihihihi..even the computer salesman wont recommend it..:D as what vin said...have them printed from print labs..cheaper once u'v factored in the maintenance cost (ink, paper, etc), convenience, etc..:D Jo Avila 05-02-2008, 06:55 PM epson, then canon, then hp....nothing follows...:D hihihihi..even the computer salesman wont recommend it..:D as what vin said...have them printed from print labs..cheaper once u'v factored in the maintenance cost (ink, paper, etc), convenience, etc..:D Lab prints cost generally less for me if its bulk work or smaller than 8R. I still have certain jobs done at a photo lab. But I enjoy ink jet printing. Its more convenient for me to sometimes print at my house or studio instead of going to a lab if its just a few pieces. I also have more options regarding which paper surface to use. My black & white ink jets also come out better compared to what a one hour lab can produce :D Cheers! Edit your pics and print them instantlly. But im not disregarding to print my pics at print labs, coz i know they are more better. just want to have a printer ready when i want to print my pics immediatley.. thnx po JosephMartinez 04-25-2010, 01:06 AM Since the last post here is 2008, I would like to ask the same question now... How is the quality of Brother printers now? I ask because I wanted to buy an AIO printer w/ WiFi and Brother offers the cheapest at around 6K... The cheapest with Canon is more than 10K... Feedback for Brother would be most welcomed... Thanks! Jo Avila 04-25-2010, 02:27 AM Since the last post here is 2008, I would like to ask the same question now... You'll be forced to use generic paper if there is none available. That will be a headache once you start to print photos. You won't have the necessary color profiles to get the image on your screen to match the print. Cheers! Jo Avila |
