Well, that other thread suddenly became a rant thread so I am starting this thread just for that - Sony users' rant thread :D
If Sony wants to improve, they should see this as an opportunity to serve their customers better.

Fire away!

Wow that must be great heheheh...just to remind you usually this kind of cases doesn't escalate to president...their secretary will open the mail and if it's customer's complaint then it will be forwarded to the customer service right away.. my partner used to work in P&G customer care and this is the protocol. Normally, president doesn't know all about customer's complaint even cases escalated to DTI. In addition to that, did you use their CONTACT US? Just to remind you I used that when I inquired to Sony Gulf because my brother is in Dubai and he said Sony PH has promo for OFW's. I sent an email but Sony PH replied to my email since my email was redirected to them because of my place of residence. I think that's the routing when it comes to email inquiry. But who knows those countries got your message and sent to PH. By the way, why you didn't escalate it to DTI if you have right to demand? Though Sony doesn't affect of few customer's complaint because they have a monthly sell out of about 500M. They could even hire corporate lawyers as much as they want. They are MNC for sure they would just laugh even if you bring it to the court. Consumers I think should be vigilant when it comes to buying of products otherwise, we would just waste our time and our productivity. But you got an excellent idea...sending emails to all Sony CC hehehe...kudos!

Sony PH doesn't pay me for this, but I am just wondering why I haven't experienced this. I want also to help you guys if you have any concern then why don't you contact them. I told you I have been contacting them since the time i purchase my DSC-T1 and I am getting good customer service from them. They also reply to my e-mails. If you have complaints and you can do anything about it then escalate it to DTI. This thread doesn't help you at all unless you contact them.

I forgot to share an experience I had a few weeks ago...I was in Anilao that time and someone approached me to check my gear. He was glad to see I was using an A100, and went on to heap a lot of phrase on the merits of the A350..he then said that he was from Sony (SPH) and that he is aware that some DSLR users are unhappy with the local support that they are receiving from Sony....

Moises and Sean was mentioned by name pa hehe...and he metioned that they (SPH again) regularly monitor DPP's sony thread :) He also confirmed that all units needing major repairs are actually sent to Singapore pa which is why it takes them several weeks to return them.

This week alone...I know of at least three new A350 owners (who all bought their units gray from HK) they were even given "international warranty" (according to the stores they got it from)...cost of the bodies were around P26K...compared to the local SRP price of...well let me just put it this way: it's just a little bit under twice the current going price at Wing Shing :( go figure...
