Items for Clarification:

1. Will you prefer photos that have never been published (online or in print)? I raise this issue, since I've seen a host of beautiful landscapes posted on DPP.

2. To me, the topic can be broad by itself. Would it include "beach randoms", such as images of people's daily lives in the coast?

To answer Dan's questions:

1. Ideally we like images that have been unpublished but we aren't closing the door to images that have been published since we have printed published images before.

2. Using people as elements to show scale is fine for me, however this shouldn't be something that shows life by the coast. No fishermen and their nets please. Pure coastal imagery is preferred.

Edit as of 1056AM: I tried uploading a photo last night. I thought large files would go through, as I did not see any limit there (until I was prompted later that 300KB was tops). So, is it the case where: we submit a small-sized photo and, if DPP chooses the photo, DPP will ask for larger, print-ready files?

guys web quality for posting on the gallery. You should already know that. As for final print size, if we don't have enough resolution to print a good file then we don't print it.

Resubmitted my entry. tama si Jay Jallorina, Sitio Gaoa yung coast not Maira-ira. Natandaan ko na lang yung Maira-ira kasi. But Sitio Gaoa is on the way going there.

the word "coast" is defined as land next to the sea. So the reader's gallery will probably accept beaches...but not so much of lake shores or river banks......

images of estuaries and deltas can probably be considered, as these adjoin the sea also.
