Ruel: The leading line in the first photo goes straight towards the sun.. i don't know if that's good or bad but the whole composition is great! =) it almost feels like i'm walking down the stairs and towards the sun? =b

You guessed it, Zandy -- the esoteric four-thirds. ;) Earl, it's an E-1, Dexter's former camera. =B) It has a 2x crop factor.

Tanong ko lang magkano kuha mo sa Nikkor 12-24mm? plano ko kasing kumuha and I'm still having a difficult time deciding whether to get the 14 mm f/2.8 or 20 mm f/2.8. Any experiences on the lenses I mentioned earlier would be most welcome. Salamat Po.:)

Sir Alex,

Got it from B&H last June and cost me around $970 including the shipping and handling papunta dito sa disyerto. I have no experiences on the 14mm f/2.8 and 20mm f/2.8 sir. Hobbyist lang po ako and I still consider myself as a newbie. :D

About the 12-24mm's performance, it is great but quite disappointing at the wide end(12mm) because of chromatic abberations on the far corners of the frame even if it is stopped down. Other than that, it is sharp, contrasty and renders beautiful colors! Sulit na sulit! :)

Don't worry baguhan din ako sa DSLR, Nikon D50 ang camera ko. Nandito ako sa Eastern Province sa Dhahran. Maraming salamat sa evaluation and experience mo about the 12-24mm. Check ko kasi dito kung kaya kong kumuha ng isa or I would rather have it ordered also kung sakaling malaki ang difference ng prices. Hobbyist lang din ako taga-kuha ng mga litrato ng mga anak ko sa Pinas kapag nauuwi ako at pati buong family on both sides. Ingat na lang dyan.

I believe it's a 16mm fisheye mounted on an F5 and if my memory serves me right, shot on Superia 400, printed on standard Fuji stock then scanned. Or did I scan it on a film scanner? Sorry.. :P

These 2 sunrise photos were taken on different dates but on the same place. I woke up at 5:30 in the morning to look for a good angle, and wait for good light.

its the EFS 10-22 of canon

tem,

cpl only on that photo. its difficult to use 10mm with stacked filters, the edges of the filters will show and vignette will also be present. with a screw type filter, holder, square type nd grad the effective focal length i can use is usually 14mm without seeing the edges and vignette.

Nuong bumagsak ang diktador na si Macoy, ito ang hiniling niya sa mga kano "Please bring me to Paoay" (UBO - UBO) pabulong na binigkas ng hari ng kurapsiyon. Malamang sa lakas ng ingay ng helikopter ng mga Kano ang pagkakarinig nila eh Hawaii. Lol!
