I never really had a good grasp of luminance, hue, and saturation... or perhaps took it for granted and just played with it within Lightroom or PS without much understanding how they are related.

I just came across this article (http://www.livelygrey.com/2007/08/tone_saturation_and_hue.html), and the visual description nailed it. :)

I am hoping that others seeking enlightenment can benefit from it as well.

also called as LCH luminance, hue and chroma. very powerful correction tool if you are in rgb or lab colorspace.

Thanks for sharing Vince! Now I can define those 3 commonly feared jargons. :)
