what are the reasonably priced scanners?

I recently got a horizon perfekt.. http://shop.lomography.com/horizon/perfekt/ and it seems that nobody can process my photos .. well unless i take them to studio 58.. still testing the camera and it might be too costly for me to keep sending my test shots to 58 for printing...

I was thinking of scanning them to see the test shots...

Anton-

I'm quite partial to Epson (scanners and printers) and I scan a lot of 4x5 films (and slides too). I'm currently using Epson Perfection 4990 Photo Scanner and it works well for my needs.

bro try the the Epson V700 or V750 they are good multi format flatbed scanners for film and positives. I'm buying the Nikon Coolscan V ED maybe next week kaya lang it's only for 35 mm.

Hi Anton,

Wanted to print your post and show it to Bengy for laughs!

Anyway, Lomo's use 120 film ba? Did you try with Louie A at DPI? I know their HR500 film scanner could scan 120's & 135.

There's also another HR500 at Professional Image Works in Connecticut, Greenhills and another one at General Photo in Glorietta.

Island Photo in Herrera has a semi-drum scanner (I forgot which brand - baka alam ni Lisa, he he) that's part of their Gretag Net Printer lab - good for up to 4x5's.

Sanly at Rustan's Supermarket, Basement, Shangri La Mall - has a KIS machine with a 120 gate as well.

Of course, this is all useless if your Lomo thingy doesn't use 120's.

See ya,

Edwin
