last time i went to a drifting competition or exhibition, I felt small pieces of rubber flying and loose stones flying towards me. I ducked my camera under my shirt, but in doing so, exposed my eyes.

In short na-puwing ako ng matindi. Never gonna go to such an event again unless naka zoom na ako. Kit lens dala ko nun

Those are Silvia S14 actually =)

cool thing about these cars is that they come out ready to drift straight out-of-the-box, cool cars really!

Abu,

if anything, you could have gotten closer pa with a wider angle lens! =) they look real neat with their bumpers right in your lens and blur all over the background. Im pretty sure that their okay with photogs hanging around the track, just make sure you ask the track marshall ahead of time and always keep your eyes on the car! =)

Thanks Tok! If there would be another day of screeching tires and burning rubber, i'll try to talk to them:D Actually, near their "base" they had a camera man with the cars circling him. I was just a resident of a nearby village who heard the noise and with curiosity (and my camera), went out. hahaha.. Those are Silvia S14 actually =)
