View Full Version : Printing and Album Supplier
Marco_Ingco 09-15-2006, 10:12 PM Hey guys! I would just like to know if you can recommend professional printers and professional album suppliers there with whom we can interact with internationally. We will be doing the digital layouts and just be sending the files to the suppliers.
I would prefer those that you have already used or still have an ongoing business relationship with.
The cost of printing 10x20s for 10x10 albums here plus the album itself is eating too much of our profit.
Thanks!
Marco

Yup... I'd second this. The Samaniego's really have a great quality selection of albums. Ariel's brother, Andy is a close friend of mine... Quality wise, you wouldn't go wrong with their stuff. :)
Michael John Navarro 09-18-2006, 04:08 PM good day sir, how 'bout those album like the quality of "THE BOOK", do you have any contacts with them aside the one that is located at Laguna? I've been already stuck from YSEN album and some ordinary Storybook. I've been seeing this kind of albums in M.Mnla Malls but afraid to ask for they might consider me a competitor.
If someone here is kind enough, you can just PM the address and the person to contact so i'll just be the one to locate them. Don't worry i'm from Pangasinan and I just would like to upgrade some of our works.
thanks very much.

czar_anthony 09-19-2006, 11:54 AM sir louie, is it possible if I send my photo layouts to DPIphoto through the internet? I am still a newbie and I learn from sir marco that album suppliers do the laquer thingy to protect the photos from fingerprints and dirt. Is this service offered by the said photo center? What can you recommend. I am hoping that my personal project will not just look like the commercial ones, but it will also last for a long time. thanks! = )

ah, ive always been intrigued by this. sure, this may protect it from scratches and fingerprints, but won't this speed up the fading of the picture's color? are these laminates archival?
i'd rather have a scratched up color pic than a scratchfree light blue one.
:<)
Jo Avila 09-19-2006, 05:01 PM I had my wedding album assembled by Vic Cuyugan. The prints don't have a laminate layer on them. But the prints still look good the last time I checked :D

Jo Avila 06-30-2007, 01:31 AM I used my Canon Pro9000 to print the images I needed for my last two weddings. :D
It's pretty hard to beat the convenience and control you over image quality if you do it yourself :D
Cheers!

Pilar Tuason 06-30-2007, 08:19 AM Laminating your photos with anti scratch material that is non archival, is a guaranteed way of damaging your photos. If it is cheap, I can guarantee you it is not archival.
JaredJoven 08-30-2007, 12:27 AM You may want to try the Cuyugan Albums. Elegant and long lasting. I think they also have printing services there. www.vicuyugan.com: (http://www.vicuyugan.com:))

You should be off-setting your price enough so that you don't lose on the deal. I understand your conundrum though.
Shoot me a pm and maybe I can find you something local to me that isn't too bad in terms of price.
I've got a local place that is known for leather craftsman's quality at a fraction of the price. (he used to work for them)
russel_carbonel 11-03-2011, 02:09 PM there is this one wedding album supplier named RSL ALBUMS....you can try them out....nice price and very creative.....heres the link: http://rslalbums.com/
Vladimir Lima 11-09-2011, 08:40 AM I use Fans Digital, JT Photo and theBook. All has quality albums no doubt.
Here are the contact details...
JT - Look for Ms. Girlie - 5366590 or 5366591
Fans Digital - 7358327
TheBook - http://www.thebook.ph/
Lately I transact with JT because of ease of service. I am from Makati so, it's easy for me to pick-up the albums from their Makati Branch. Hope this helps.
devidmicheal 11-10-2011, 11:18 AM I had a wedding album, compiled by Vic Cuyugan. The printer is not the laminate flooring. But the press still looks good the last time I checked.
laurencemiranda 11-10-2011, 03:01 PM KISS Wedding Books from the US offers very simple and cute photobooks. You just upload your designs online and pay online too. They only have square sizes and only offer leather or linen covers. Simplicity and minimalism is their mantra and I like it. Quite expensive though but the final output is great.
I also recently ordered samples from TheBook and they are nice. I just don't like the design of the spine (I like to keep everything simple and minimalistic). The offer magnetic types and book types also. Their contact persons are not very good though. Won't reply fast to messages or emails.
